Kristodianism
Kristodianism is a conceptual model for evaluating and describing street photographs.
What is Kristodianism?
Kristodianism is a conceptual model developed by street photographer Kris Washington to consistently evaluate and describe street photographs.
Kristodianism employs a rubric that makes applying specific terminology and characteristics to the subject of street photographs easier and more consistent than the language used to discuss street photography prior to its creation.
Why was Kristodianism created?
Kristodianism fills a previously unmet need for a common street photography vernacular. It was devised to make it easier for street photographers and other artists to unify their discussion of the attributes of street photographs. Before Kristodianism, street photographers, photo editors, and other artists used entirely different vocabularies to talk about street photographs.
